Plant & Woodwork Sale and Annual Pumpkin Competition
Our next monthly Plant & Woodwork Sale takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 at Elizabeth Road Allotments, and this month it will also host our annual pumpkin competition. The weigh in begins at 10.30am, and visitors are warmly invited to come along and see whose pumpkin takes the title this year.
Available this month
A selection of seasonal winter annuals and perennials will be on sale, alongside organic produce from the allotments. This month’s produce includes runner beans, courgettes, leeks, tomatoes, cucumbers, beetroot, rhubarb and, of course, pumpkins.
There will also be a range of handcrafted wooden items, including bug and bird boxes, planters and decorative pieces.
Refreshments
Drinks and a variety of cakes and slices will be available throughout the morning.
