Castle Trust Bank Volunteer Day

Castle Trust Bank Team Roll Up Their Sleeves at Greenfingers

We were delighted to welcome 8 members of the Castle Trust Bank compliance team to Greenfingers on Monday 20th July, for a fantastic day of corporate volunteering. Castle Trust Bank encourages every colleague to volunteer for a local good cause for one day each year, and we’re so glad they chose to spend theirs with us.

The team got stuck into a real variety of jobs around the site, including shed and bench painting, potato harvesting, and woodworking, all brilliantly planned and supervised by our own Tim.

Caroline Baker, Chief Compliance Officer, who led the volunteer team, said:

“This opportunity to work with Basingstoke Mencap together as a team has been really welcome. The highlight of the day was being able to work alongside your wonderful service users, and to be cheered on, especially by Tony and Alan, in our efforts to add value to your wonderful charitable work.”

Caroline, who is also Castle Trust Bank’s ESG lead, added that she will be encouraging other teams across the business to come and volunteer with us in future.

A huge thank you to Caroline and the whole team for their hard work, energy, and enthusiasm, and of course to Tony, Alan, and all our service users for making the day such a success.
