BBQ at Malshanger

For many years, the May Club (one of our leisure clubs) has been invited by our life president to a BBQ at the Malshanger Estate and this year all of our clubs were involved. Many thanks are due to Lady Colman (our president) and to Graham Weller who provided the food.

  • quadrupled the number of service users taking advantage of the project
  • introduced an increased number of wooden products for the garden
  • more than trebled our sales of produce, plants and wooden items.

OUTINGS CLUB

This new activity takes place most weeks between February and November and is designed to explore places using public transport (usually buses) so it is ideal for those who have a national bus pass. Subject to the weather, each outing includes an opportunity for a short walk and a picnic lunch.
